Prism Solar and PPG Industries Partner to Test Performance of Anti-Reflective Glass in Standard and Holographic Solar Modules

Prism Solar Technologies and PPG Industries have partnered on a project to test the performance of different types of glass in both standard and holographic photovoltaic (PV) modules at various incident and direct angles. The test will compare PPG’s Solarphire® AR high-transmissive glass to patterned glass to determine the increase in energy yield.

Empire State Development recently awarded Prism Solar Technologies, a manufacturer of photovoltaic modules that improve the performance of solar energy collection, a $600,000 Jobs Now grant.
