Meridian Energy is not giving up on the $2 billion Project Hayes wind
farm, saying a decision overturning it would block other nationally important
projects. Yesterday, Meridian appealed against an Environment Court decision
cancelling consent for a 176-turbine wind farm planned for the Lammermoor
